MY CONCEPT IS SUGAR. I CHOSE SUGAR BECAUSE I ENJOY BAKING,ALSO I WANTED TO INCORPORATE IT INTO MY DESIGN I THOUGHT IT WILL BE SOMETHING NEW AND INTERESTING. I WANT TO HAVE DIFFERENT FORMS AND SPACES IN MY BUILDING, BY LOOKING AT THE DIFFERENT SHAPES AND FORMS THAT A SUGAR CANE TAKES DURING THE PROCESS OF BECOMING SUGAR.
Please post a comment about your concept. Describe the connection of the sugar and its stages to the concept of the library. The images are very strong and show the different stages of sugar.
ReplyDeleteIt’s intriguing that you are using sugar as your concept. This is a good start since it has relevance to you. It’s much easier to approach a design when there is a personal association. I would suggest going deeper and exploring what it is that sugar you will use for design concept. If it’s the process of becoming sugar, then how is this process influence your design? Another way of looking at sugar is at its molecular structure. You can explore its organic feature of sugar and even suggest a new way of sugar processing. Maybe this can spawn to environmental design, green architecture, organic element or geometry shape that sugar forms. The possibility is promising and you are on to a good start!
